The [New Atheism]] movement is now effectively dead due to Dawkins falling out of his favor due to his [[Elevatorgate]] controversy (a controversy involving his statements to [[feminism|feminist]] [[Rebecca Watson]]) and his comments on [[Islam]] (see: [[Richard Dawkins and Islamophobia accusations]]).
