Led Zeppelin were a British rock group.  The members of the band were Robert Plant (vocals), Jimmy Page (guitar), John Paul Jones (bass guitar and keyboards) and John Bonham (drums).

Led Zeppelin were notoriously private and spurned the publicity machine usually favored by groups. In their home country, the UK, they refused to release singles to promote their albums and television appearances where rare. After the release of the first album such appearances stopped altogether. The band preferred to tour extensively.
