:: Well, which pieces were "said pieces"? I assume you mean the examples, which are vital to the article. If they were not there it would be infintely harder and more tedious to explain what exactly a "Your mum" joke is, and the end result would be just as offensive. (And I fail to see how the jokes could be taken as offensive when they are not directed at anyone.)
