'''Norman Wisdom''' (b. [[London]], 1915)is a much-loved British comic actor. In his many films he plays the role of a hapless 'everyman' or 'little man' character, at the mercy of outside forces - mainly his bosses. Although he now lives in retirement on the [[Isle of Man]], he is a huge star in [[Albania]]. His popularity there dates from the Communist dictatorship of [[Enver Hoxha]], when Wisdom's films, despite having little to do with Marxist ideology, were among the very few western imports shown in Albanian cinemas and on television.
