'''Denton''' is a city in north Texas. It is a growing suburb of both [[Dallas]] and [[Fort Worth]].
The city has expanded rapidly in recent years and is somewhat conservative, but has significant pockets of liberalism as it is home to two large public universities: Texas Woman's University (which has been officially co-educational since 1994, and counts among prominent former faculty Sarah Weddington, the plaintiff's attorney in the notorious [[Roe v. Wade]] decision) and The University of North Texas (best known for its world-renowned music program, but has significant liberal arts programs).
