Houston is the largest city in the United States state of Texas and the fourth largest city in the United States of America.  Houston is the county seat of Harris county, with a population of approximately 1.9 million. Houston is known for its thriving energy industry and the largest medical center in the country, as well as the second largest performing arts district in the nation. White Houstonians gernerally drive Ford Explorer or Chevolet Suburban vehicles and vote Republican, while it's large Hispanic and African American communities drive either pickup trucks or sedans and generally vote Democratic.  There are many tasty Mexican restaurants in Houston.
