AmesG, you say that "homophobia" is just a term for discrimination and not a phobia. Do you have any sources to support that? It is contrary to my experience. Eg, some states have laws against discrimination, but none have laws against homophobia. Why is that, do you think? [[User:RSchlafly|RSchlafly]] 16:54, 6 May 2007 (EDT)
:This is true what he says. It is not illegal to think, only to do. In some countries one cannot say that they think homosexuality is wrong, but no one says what you can believe in your heart.[[User:MoshiachNow|MoshiachNow]] 16:59, 6 May 2007 (EDT)
If you can find a gay rights activist saying that homophobia is a mental disease, then throw down. Otherwise you're just imagining it. And RSchlafly, I think that your note about the way that the law works is just right on: it recognizes that the only thing that gay rights workers are after is criminalizing discrimination, not though.-'''<font color="#007FFF">Ames</font><font color="#FF0000">G</font>'''[http://www.conservapedia.com/User_talk:AmesG yo!] 17:19, 6 May 2007 (EDT)
