On December 8, 2017 Schiff leaked to Manu Raju of [[CNN]] a story about [[WikiLeaks]] and a [[Don Trump, Jr]] email. The date on the email was deliberately altered to 10 days earlier. Schiff took the bait in a Sessions DOJ leak investigation and gave it to CNN. This identified the leaker. This also is why the DOJ and FBI were reluctant to comply with House subpoenas because of the presrnce of known leakers.

The [[Carter Page]] [[FISA]] warrant application was given to the Senate Intelligence and Judiciary committees in March 2017, but as of July 2018 was never given to the House Intelligence Committee because of Adam Schiff's leaking. As members of the minority, Schiff effectively thwarted the House investigation through illegal leaking.
