Hello Eastern Orthodox, I appreciate your edits -- they seem high quality and are sourced. I want to let you know, however, that it is CP policy not to treat evolution (or biblical creation) as undisputed fact. Thus, when dealing with topic pertaining to that, I strongly recommend using wording such as "according to...," "[evolutionists/creationists/whomever] argue that...", etc. Our reasoning is that there are thousands of sites which treat evolutionary dates as undisputed fact, while the views of scientists who believe in a young Earth (and I personally know a number of them) are ignored/mischaracterized/etc. We might have at least one online wiki which fairly discusses both views (and editors here hold to both views). Regretfully, I had to revert [https://www.conservapedia.com/index.php?title=Civilization&curid=1576&diff=1486211&oldid=1486087 this edit] because I thought it only presented the old Earth view (specifically, the earlier dates, before ~3000) without any qualification.
