Unfortunately, some survivors of the horrific event have exploited this tragedy to push more horrific aspects. An infamous example is Simone Veil, nee Simone Jacob, an ethnic non-practicing Jew who was along two of her three eldest siblings among the few survivors in her family of the holocaust due to being arrested despite getting fake papers hiding her family's Jewish identity, who later was responsible for the passage of "loi Veil", France's equivalent of Roe v.
