The [[Attack on Pearl Harbor]] officially brought The United States into the Great War.  Admiral [[Isoroku Yamamoto]] of the Japenese Navy was against engaging with The United States and only fear of "waking a sleeping giant", which they did. The United States recovered from the shell shock and plunged into the war with the slogan "Remember Pearl Harbor!".
