| | :::I apologize for adding to a discussion which is over a year old. However, DMorris straightened me out about this, and I wanted to belatedly set the record straight. When a user is blocked, the username/account is blocked for a specified amount of time, but the IP address is only blocked for 24 hours, unless it is banned separately. Autoblock will put a 24-hour ban on all IPs used by the banned account, though I'm not sure if it also blocks IPs which log into the banned account at a later time...I believe it does. Therefore, it seems we do not need to worry about the last point I made, as I was mistaken. Once DMorris corrected me, I did some research and testing, which confirmed what he told me. --[[User:DavidB4|<font color="ForestGreen">DavidB4</font>]] ([[User talk:DavidB4|TALK]]) 00:03, 28 March 2019 (EDT) | | :::I apologize for adding to a discussion which is over a year old.
