February 6, 1911- June 5, 2004.  The fortieth President of the United States from 1981-1989.  Considered by many to be the greatest Conservative American President, Ronald Reagan's greatest accomplishments include leading America peacefully through the Cold War, reducing the size of the federal government, lowering taxes, promoting a free economy and staunchly opposing socialism and communism.  Reagan was also served two terms as governor of California from 1967–1975. He is famous for uttering the words, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall," before the tearing down of the [[Berlin Wall]] separating East and West Germany. He also introduced the idea of "Reaganomics" in which the rich would supposedly spend money which would trickle down to the poor.
