a start
A '''red diaper baby''' is a child of a member of the [[Communist Party]], typically the American Communist Party in the 1940s and 1950s when the movement had a chance of gaining power in the [[United States]].

The term was popularized by a sympathetic book about them published in 1998, called "Red Diapers: Growing Up in the Communist Left" (
Edited by Judy Kaplan and Linn Shapiro).<ref>http://www.press.uillinois.edu/f98/kaplan.html</ref>
