'''Jacksonville College''' is a private [[junior college]] located in the East Texas city of [[Jacksonville, Texas]]. It is the oldest junior college in Texas (opening in 1899, though prior to 1918 it operated as a four-year institution) and is the only private junior college in Texas which is fully accredited.
The college is owned and operated by the [[Baptist Missionary Association of America]], a conservative-leaning [[Baptist]] denomination. However, the college also receives support from the [[Southern Baptists of Texas Convention]], the Texas state convention aligned with the [[Southern Baptist Convention]].
