Judge Gaudin and his wife of sixty-three years, had three children, Melanee Usdin, Monique Gardner, and Charles Gaudin, and their spouses, Steven W. Usdin, J. Warren Gardner, Jr., and Kathleen DeMilia Gaudin, respectively. He had four grandchildren. Gaudin died sixteen days before his 89th birthday. Services were held on July 9.
