Now, that being said, we should give video games the kind of caution we give books, TV shows, and movies, because while those mediums by themselves don't necessarily cause mass shootings or mass riots, specific messages in those mediums actually can orchestrate them. Like the French Enlightenment's works or Marx's Das Kapital, for example, or Brian de Palma's Redacted (and personally, I'd argue books are more dangerous than even TV shows, movies, or especially video games, precisely because of their direct role in causing the French Revolution and Communist Revolutions.).
