Epstein was arrested again in July 2019. The case was given to the [[DOJ]]'s public corruption unit and not its sex crimes unit. [[Maurene Comey]], daughter of former FBI director [[James Comey]], was assigned as a prosecutor in the case. If not for special treatment in the late 2000s due to liberal privilege, Epstein would have been in prison and his more recent victims may have been spared.  After being denied bail,  Epstein was found in his cell unconscious with marks on his neck.

Donald Trump never flirted with me."<ref>https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-09/epstein-document-dump-hits-accuser-says-trump-didnt-partake-any-sex-any-us</ref> Epstein's death has initially been ruled a suicide, though given his ability to implicate many rich and powerful people in sex crimes, including the Clintons, foul play is widely suspected.
