Really the Sabbath Day is any day that the Lord has deemed as Holy. The original holy day was the day that God rested. Jews believe this to be Saturday while Christians like to think of it as Sunday. It could be either it's more likely to be Saturday since the Christian calender has been altered so many times over the centries.[[User: Dfairlyxed13|Dfairlyxed13]]

My view is that Christians have leeway to do whatever they want on the Sabbath. Colossians 2:16-17 says: Do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. [[User:DanH|DanH]] 13:50, 27 April 2007 (EDT)

Paul isn't talking about the seventh-day Sabbath in Col. 2:16-17. The passage refers to outsiders (''i.e.'', non-Christians) judging the believers for their eating and drinking on (''en merei'') the feast days, new moons and ceremonial sabbaths.
