Harris is 50% South Asian (India), 25% African, and 25% [[Irish]]. Under Harris' reparations proposal, if it were based on any notion of justice, she would be exempt; her mother immigrated from India and her father from Jamaica. Even if an argument could be made that she were entitled to reparations based on her father's African heritage, it would be cancelled out by her father's other one-half Irish heritage. At best she'd be entitled to one-half the standard benefit, of which she'd be liable to pay to herself.
