:# Overpopulation is not a problem.  The problem is a lack of food production in some countries, due to corrupt governments and worldviews that don't encourage productive effort.  Believing in the God of truth would get rid of corruption, and believing in the God that tells us that we should do a fair day's work would increase productive effort.
