Although early songs supported the terrorist actions of the [[IRA]], in recent years Bono has done great works for Our Lord in Africa, bringing missionary zeal to international affairs campaigning. He has frequently appeared at the [[United Nations]] and his speeches in support of the people of [[Iraq]] played a small but important role in the liberation of that country. Recently Bono has launched the 'RED' product line with The Gap and other retailers, donating a large portion of the proceeds to [[Africa]]n charity. Bono is married with three daughters.
