'''William J. Murray III''' is the founder of the Religious Freedom Coalition.
Murray was the product of an illicit relationship between his father and [[Madalyn Murray O'Hair]], and was used as a pawn by O'Hair to have prayer and Bible reading removed from the public schools. He later had a daughter, Robin, who he was forced to surrender custody after drug problems; Robin was adopted by O'Hair.
Murray would later convert to Christianity and called to evangelism; the conversion would result in the O'Hairs (Madalyn, brother Garth, and Robin) cutting all ties with him.
However, when the O'Hairs mysteriously disappeared, it would be Murray -- not the local police or anyone associated with O'Hair's American Atheists organization -- who would push for their disappearance to be investigated, and as the only remaining living relative would be granted custody of their bodies and allowed to bury them.
