→‎Eternal Universe?: Only things that began need a cause
Line 326: Line 326:
You think way too pre-relativity, time and space are connected and foldable: time is not absolute! Besides, if everything needs a cause in linear time, then why doesn't that supernatural being need an origin and cause as well?

:I know time is not absolute, but I don't know how that affects what I was saying.  Not everything needs a cause; only things that have a beginning need a cause, and God has no beginning.  Ultimately ''something'' must be eternal, in order to provide a cause for things that have a beginning, else you get into endless regression.  [[User:Philip J.
