:::The passage tells us that Modern [[Homo sapiens|humans]] are the descendants of [[Noah]] and his family. The only humans left after the [[Great Flood]]. Since we are all descendants of the same family it is no surprise that we are very very similar. What [[Scientists]] believe merely confirms that.
