That which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled. And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him upon whom a price had been set, whom some of the children of Israel priced, and they gave them for the potter’s field as the LORD commanded, as You, Lord LORD, have said to me.

They led Jesus therefore from "Kye-aphas into the Praetorium". It was early, "and they-themselves" did not enter "into the Praetorium", that they might not "be defiled" but might eat the "Passover-sacrifices", the "hagig-ah" sacrificial foods "offered that-day", and indeed offered during the "whole" of the eight days of the "Passover-festival" of Unleavened Bread "when they eat the Passover". "For the-Jews", and "especially" the priests, hold that they must be "ritually clean" to eat the sacrificial "Passover-hagig-ah" foods during the "octave of Unleavened Bread" called Passover, even while their hearts "within them" are defiled with venal corruption. Pilate therefore went out to them and said, "What accusation" do you "bring-against this man".

They answered him, If this man were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered him up to you.
