Specifically item #17 “About Queries” of US persons. Rogers suspected FISA 702 (#17 – email and phone calls) surveillance activity was being used for reasons he deemed unlawful. In mid 2016 Rogers ordered the NSA compliance officer to run a full audit on 702 NSA compliance. Mike Rogers shut down access on April 18, 2016. On April 19, 2016, Fusion-GPS founder Glenn Simpson’s wife, Mary Jacoby visited the White House. Immediately thereafter, the DNC and Clinton campaign contract Fusion GPS. who then hire Christopher Steele.
