:It's a debate raging for years, whether there is some altruistic motive behind Marxism and hairsplitting over the degree to which atheistic and murderous ideologies can be criticized. [[User:RobSmith|RobS]][[User talk:RobSmith|Live Free or Die]] 11:22, 17 May 2020 (EDT)

::[[User talk:RobSmith|RobSmith]], obviously you remain convinced that there is no difference between socialism and communism. While the USSR's communists failed, socialism most certainly hasn't. Millions of people throughout the world, who were not born into wealth, can attest to that fact. All political parties in Canada, Britain, and numerous other countries have had to modify their ideologies because of the success of socialist ideas, even the Republican Party. Recently, I was heartened to learn of Robert M. La Follette Sr., a Republican senator for Wisconsin (1906 to 1925), who supported child labour laws, social security, women’s suffrage, and other progressive reforms. He even ran for President in 1924 as a Progressive. But maybe it's Christianity that has been the influence on such Republicans rather than socialism?

::So it looks like the article will remain seriously flawed for now? I note, however, Conservapedia's strange enthusiasm (overall) for former communist [[Vladimir Putin]]. Actually though a communist, interestingly, he apparently was baptised.

:::[[User talk:Conservative|Conservative]], I fail to understand your comments. Are you suggesting that I am another person, with whom you've had a major conflict with elsewhere: "He is merely posting this material in order to get a rise out of me after he deleted my material several times"? Please clarify. I'd forgotten that the site mentioned even existed. --[[User:Timber2|Timber2]] ([[User talk:Timber2|talk]]) 12:05, 17 May 2020 (EDT)
