During the [[Leftwing insurrection of 2020]] NPR made the false claim than alleged "[[white supremacist]]s" were using vehicles to run down alleged "peaceful" rioters based an edited video from [[Louisville]], Kentucky. The allusion was to a 2017 Charlottesville incident.  In [[Aurora]], Colorado a 27 year old white [[Black Live Matter]] protestor then shot in the head an innocent driver at an intersection trying to avoid protesters. NPR later walked back its claim about the Louisville incident when it was discovered the the driver, who was black, was assaulted and was the victim of a violent [[leftist]] attack.
