:The Word of God itself says it is ''living and active''; the Nicene Creed says the "Lord Jesus Christ [was] born of the Father before all ages". That simply is not true, per the Word of God. Jesus was not born until the Roman census of Caesar Augustus. These pious sounding phrases and words of men, that people accept as gospel truth and substitute for, or ignore completely, the scripture, have the effect of deceiving people. It is that ''living and active'' quality of the scripture I call upon to strike down the deceptions and ignorance of men.
