'''The WB Television Network''' (known simply as '''"The WB"''') was an American broadcasting television network owned by [[Warner Bros.]] and Tribune Broadcasting which first launched on January 11, 1995. The network ran for eleven years before merging with [[UPN]] to form [[the CW]] in 2006. Popular programming on the WB included Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Roswell (both of which would move to UPN), 7th Heaven, Supernatural (both would continue on the CW), and Dawson's Creek. The network also included the children's programming block, '''Kids' WB''', which would air on Saturday mornings and weekday afternoons. It would later move to the CW following the WB's closure.
