According to the [[Alabama]]-based '''Capstone Report''', Critical race theory has made its way into some of the [[Southern Baptist Convention]]'s seminaries.  At its 2019 Annual Meeting, messengers to the SBC narrowly passed Resolution 9, which stated that CRT (along with intersectionality, another controversial construct) could be "useful tools" in interpreting modern issues (though it pointed out that any such use not impinge on Biblical inerrancy or infallibility).
