Moreover, the statistics Mr. Kristof cites don't include Israelis killed by other Arab terrorists working in league with the Palestinian Arabs and funded by the same Iranian terror master. In 2006, that included 43 Israeli civilians and 117 Israeli soldiers who were killed in the war with Lebanese-based Hezbollah. The B'Tselem statistics do include — but Mr. Kristof omits — the 55 Palestinian Arabs killed in 2006 by other Palestinian Arabs, a figure to which can be added another 84 killed in intramural violence in January and February of 2007.

For these deaths, it seems Mr. Kristof hasn't yet figured out how to blame the Israelis. Nor does Mr. Kristof's selective use of the B'Tselem statistics include the Americans and those from other countries who were killed by Palestinian Arab terrorists, such as Daniel Wultz, a 16-year-old from Florida who was slain in a 2006 suicide attack on the old central bus station in Tel Aviv.

This is a report with blood on its hands because it’s trying to restrict soldiers who protected this country’s citizens; it’s trying to tie our hands.”

There is blood on the hands of those who wrote the report – as well as those organizations funded by The New Israel Fund who provided factually inaccurate information to the United Nations. They are responsible for this modern day blood libel against Israel.

In the Palestinian Authority, the penal code reserves capital punishment for anyone convicted of selling land to Jews. This law, which Palestinian officials defended as designed to prevent takeovers by settlers, has not been implemented in Palestinian courts, where sellers of land to Jews are usually sentenced to several years in prison. However, in recent years several Palestinian have been murdered for selling land. Their murders have remained unsolved.

The publication is part of an international NGO-led campaign of demonization that falsely accuses Israel of abusing children’s rights. The allegation that this policy is “systematic” and “extensive,” language taken from the Rome Statute's definition of crimes against humanity, reflects lawfare – an attempt to drive indictments at the International Criminal Court (ICC). (For more details, see NGO Monitor's reports, “The Origins of ‘No Way to Treat a Child’” and “No Way to Represent a Child: Defence for Children International – Palestine’s Distortions of the Israeli Justice System.”)

The report bears the European Union logo. HaMoked and B’Tselem are co-beneficiaries of a two-year, €200,000 grant (expiring December 2017) from the EU, “Youth in Detention: Preventing mistreatment of detained Palestinian minors in East Jerusalem.” The title of the project already prejudices the research findings and indicates the politicized aims of the project, the NGO implementers, and its funder.

The report is based on testimonies from a small group of minors accused of violent offenses. (The report refers to stone-throwing, but there may be other, more serious charges as well.) B’Tselem and HaMoked do not provide broader or comparative data that portray standard police practices regarding crimes by both Israeli and Palestinian minors. It is distinctly possible that, indeed, these are the “rare exceptions,” due to the violent nature of the accusations, where Israeli law permits, for instance, arrests of minors.

The time period examined in this report saw heightened terrorism and extreme violence by minors. As with other publications in the children’s rights campaign against Israel, this context is minimized if not erased.

The context of law enforcement in Jerusalem is essential, however ignored by the authors. All Jerusalem residents, whether Israeli or Palestinian, are subject to the same Israeli law and face the same justice system. For instance, Jewish minors are also detained at the Russian Compound, so any deficiencies do not reflect “institutional, systemic discrimination” against Palestinian residents as stated by the NGO authors.

In the first story, a Sept. 10 piece by Ben Hubbard, the paper erred about Palestinian access to the Jordan Valley, a stretch of land parallel to the Jordan River that runs along the West Bank’s eastern border. Citing the Israeli advocacy group B’Tselem, Hubbard told readers Palestinians are “barred from entering or using about 85 percent” of the Jordan Valley where it passes through the West Bank.

2. Just because a drama propagandist says his statement is not a conspiracy theory doesn't mean it's not. And even if the few cases he offers were indeed abuse, any force on the planet has some abuse cases. Not to mention most of the world does not deal with as much of the constant fear of being attacked.

3. Such a line "he fired for no reason" is an insult to anyone's intelligence. Who is he trying to fool about a tightly close border fence with constant attempt by racist Arab Palestinians young or old to harm Israeli Jews? Soldiers ), 24/7, are on edge on every little sudden move of anyone. One can presume there might be some mistakes aling these hot points too.
