Here is more context:

Now, while it is fairly obvious Luther is speaking from 1 Corinthians 15:55, ESV ''O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?'', this portion of the footnote, ''Luther who famously ....railed against the Popes and the Catholic Church....'' can easily be misconstrued to equate "the Popes and Catholic Church" with Satan, judging from the way it is used in this context.
IMO, its little more than an attack on Luther (and lame one, at that) and adds nothing to our understanding of scripture or person of Satan and should be stripped out. [[User:RobSmith|RobS]]<sup>[[User talk:RobSmith|Free Kyle!]]</sup> 16:35, 27 December 2020 (EST)
