Crowder is well known for the popular ''Change My Mind'' internet [[meme]].<ref>https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/steven-crowders-change-my-mind-campus-sign</ref>

In February of 2018, Crowder uploaded an image of himself sitting in front of a sign that read "Male Privilege is a Myth | Change My Mind"<ref>https://twitter.com/scrowder/status/964577508447449088</ref> This lead to many internet memers creating a template by photoshopping the image to contain controversial opinions, with the majority not relating to politics. Complex, a website that posts articles about pop culture, rated it as one of the most popular and best memes of 2018.<ref>https://www.complex.com/life/best-memes-2018/<ref/>
