With the passing of the "Act of 1871" another Constitution very similar to the original was drafted except it was capitalized and the word "for" was changed to "of" in the title. Thereby instead of reading, "The Constitution for the united states of America" it read "THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".
