'''Witchcraft''' or '''black magic''' is the [[evil]] use of [[supernatural]] powers. Witchcraft may include any act or instance of employing [[sorcery]], especially with malevolent intent. Witchcraft calls upon the powers of the [[devil]] much like a believer prays and believes in the power of [[God]]. If you believe in God, and believe in what the [[Bible]] says, then you must believe in the powers of evil as well. You cannot take one side and then completely discount the other side. So, evil power is real and witchcraft is the use of it.

'''Witchcraft''' is a path that is chosen by those that are 'witches' or used as a term by a practicing witch.  It varies in use from working with nature, worshipping the earth, the universe, a God or Goddess, and encompasses many varied ideals.  Some also use supernatural style powers, creating cosmic style energies. Witchcraft may include any act or instance of employing sorcery, or some may work with malevolent intent.

Witchcraft, contrary to popular belief does NOT call upon the powers of the [[devil]] much like a believer prays and believes in the power of [[God]]. The devil is very much a Christian concept and exists only since the time of Christ.

Prior to this, some (not all) witches were known to celebrate Pan, the closest looking to the Christian Satan/Devil. At no time does Pan represent anything as devastating as the Christian Devil.
