'''Witchcraft''' or '''black magic''' is the [[evil]] use of [[supernatural]] powers. Witchcraft may include any act or instance of employing [[sorcery]], especially with malevolent intent. Witchcraft calls upon the powers of the [[devil]] much like a believer prays and believes in the power of [[God]]. If you believe in God, and believe in what the [[Bible]] says, then you must believe in the powers of evil as well. You cannot take one side and then completely discount the other side. So, evil power is real and witchcraft is the use of it.

Eternal; "Evil? No, it is an Earth based belief system that calls upon not only nature, but a pantheon of Gods and Goddesses." Lady Cailleach Beara; "It is also the use of air, fire, water and earth. Therefore if witchcraft is evil, the very air a person breathes or the ground they walk upon is evil also. Can a person truly say all nature is evil? Because the belief in nature is what rules a witch."

Eternal; "Witches cannot call upon a being they do not believe in, IE Satan. And true Witches do not set out to harm anyone." Lady Cailleach Beara; "Sorcery and Witchcraft are two entirely different things. Witchcraft is the use of herbs, stones, animal totems and such to heal and protect."

Eternal; "Evil exists, but Witchcraft is not evil in any way. It is a system of beliefs and actions that preexist Christianity and exist today in many forms."

Lady Cailleach Beara; "Even during the time of Jesus, herbs were used to heal. Oils were made to anoint the head and feet from herbs. The bible says Jesus was anointed with oils. Does this mean that a witch had contact with Jesus. Witches use herbs for the same purposes.

Witches use incense to cleanse and candles to light for prayer. So does the Roman Catholic church. Does this mean they are witches? Witches are not the source of evil nor do they deal with evil. They deal mainly with healing and prayer to a god or goddess that is not part of the Christian religion. If a person prays for another to be healed or lights a candle in memory of the dead, how can that person be deemed evil?

To say a person is evil because they choose to believe in another religion other than mainstream Christianity is not based on fact, it is based on bias and hatred. Is that any way to live in a world and get along?

If it harms none, do what you will.

How can harming none be evil? "
