And like I also said earlier, I've encountered several people who actually used the Black Book of Communism itself, or its authors at least, to discredit the book, even went as far as to claim the authors of the book disowned Stéphane Courtois for that person's statements and claimed that if anything what that person claimed was sloppy, all as ammo to discredit it, with TGP not playing ANY role in it being discredited. Still a better source than, say, r/AskHistorians, which if anything pushes a far-left view of history, and yet I've encountered plenty of leftists use THAT to dismiss any references that expose Communism far more than I've EVER seen them use TGP as a source to dismiss anti-Communist thought.
