:I think that Dr. Steve Turley, being highly educated, knew that Vice President Pence's role in counting the electoral votes was purely ceremonial, and that he had no ability to overturn the certified election results from the states. In any case, I seem to recall that there was an insurrection against the government of the United States of America, that would have hampered any such action. Fortunately, the insurrectionists have been arrested and are awaiting trial. And President Biden's victory is firmly established by all but some crazy people.

:Cons: you frequently surprise me with your almost-sensible statements on a number of issues, though this isn't one of them. It makes me wish I had more time to spend discussing things with you. I often go for weeks without noticing things that you have written, like your entry above from 4 months ago.
:Usually the things that are recommended to me here at CP are YouTube videos, spoken in a monotone voice from what appears to be someone's basement, about something incredibly stupid like Young-Earth Creationism. And, in general, I don't give much credence to people who communicate with videos instead of the written word. But maybe I need to accept that times are changing, and that videos are the way even intelligent people sometimes communicate.
