'''Wario''' is a character from the Mario games and the rival of [[Mario]], whom he is named after. Wario first appears in [[Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins]] as the main antagonist. Since the following game, [[Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3]] (which Mario does not appear in despite the title), Wario has received his own series branching off from the main Mario series.
