Sorry.I didn't mean to intimate anything. (gee, I am getting in the,um, getting into strife everywhere tonight). Bill Lawry was a test cricketer, and captained Australia in the late 60s, early 70s. In recent years he has been a commentator on TV. He is famous around the country for being very very very Victorian. (That's Victorian as in State of Australia of which Melbourne is capital). He is famous for much repeated phrases like: "It is all happening at the MSG." (Melbourne Cricket Ground.) He is a bit of a standing joke. But you may know all this, as an Australian.
