LOL! Warn away. I'll lose no sleep over it. And I understand enough about ancient warfare to know that killing everyone down to the last infant was NOT the norm (see Numbers 33.) As for it being "redundant" I think what bothers you is that observing exactly what "inhabitants" means in this context is uncomfortably close to the point.
