It seems to me that [[Thomas Sowell]] and [[Roger Scruton]] present the same difficulty: both authors have been so prolific as to risk over-balancing this list, at least in its nascency. I think Scruton's 'Modern Philosophy: An Introduction and Survey' should be read by every intelligent English-speaker on God's green earth, frankly (and you can make a start for free on Google Books btw), but others will wish his more polemical works to be represented.
