The purpose of today's environmentalism is to consolidate power structures into NGO's (Non Governmental Organinisations). These NGO's will be used to influence corporate, legislative, and judicial bodies in the regulatory manipulation of the worlds societies to conform to their sustainable development vision of the world. Sustainable development in this case means the redistribution of wealth from rich nations to the third world. The elimination of privately owned property by individual citizens. Thereby creating a Human-made utopian Garden of Eden... without God, of course. That is what is meant by the term environmentalism.
