a start
A '''Leftist tyrant''' is a particular kind of pretentious tyrant that tries to justify his conduct based on [[progressivism]], public health, or even [[Rule of Law]]. [[Scientism]], with circular reasoning using [[atheistic science]], can be the disingenuous basis used by a Leftist tyrant.

He or she can be a career bureaucrat, a life-tenured judge, a university professor, or even a judge.

In contrast with [[liberal]]s of the 1960s, a Leftist tyrant is opposed to genuine [[freedom of speech]] and will use [[liberal censorship]] to advance his goals.
