::::There were nine "SARS-type" viruses recovered from the mine shaft in Mojiang and taken to the Wuhan Lab. The one that we have detailed information about is 96 percent the same as the covid virus. That's not close enough for it to be considered an ancestor or backbone.

::::There was "significant renovation" at the Wuhan lab sometime around August 2019. Perhaps this was closing the barn after the horse escaped. What about the other eight viruses obtained from Mojiang? If the Wuhan lab's database was still up, that would be public information. But it was taken down on September 12, 2019.
