:So, sponsorship of a bill like this tells us little about a member's practical or ideological stance, and more about the garbage talking points they are willing to use in their district to win elections (hence, more about the corrupt, ignorant idiots and voters in a particular district than about a member's own views or agenda). So Deutch co-sponsored the bill in the 115th Congress but not for the 116th Congress. —[[User:Liberaltears|<code><span style="color:black; background:#FFABAB">'''LT'''</span></code>]]'''''[[User talk:Liberaltears|May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well!]]''''' Friday, 01:45, September 24, 2021 (EDT)

:::Yah, it shows he's a little more practical than most, and probably lives in a swing or near-swing district. He jumped on the bandwagon when it had momentum, but cut his losses when he saw it was a loser. He wants to maintain some "moderate" street cred, but too bad, he's outed himself as a leftist commie pinko.
