Well, given that other sources which cited it say the quote was attributed to Taft, Jr. rather than Taft, Sr., an assessment which you appear to think is correct, then I think that particular assertion in the Yerger article should either be further clarified in a manner which doesn't excessively stray off-topic, or just removed.
