In October 2021, it was reported that a woman was [[rape]]d on a SEPTA train by an illegal [[Congo]]lese immigrant in front of 10 passengers who did not come to the aid of the victim. The incident lasted 30 minutes as the train went through 27 stops over 40 miles.
